What We Do and
Where We're From
Tumang Copper Works is based around Tumang — a village in Boyolali, Central Java, that has been known for copper craft for a long time.
The craftsmen there learned from their families. It's not a recent industry — people in Tumang have been doing this work for generations, and it shows in how they approach a piece.
We work between those craftsmen and clients who need custom copper pieces — hotels, designers, architects. We manage the project so both sides can do what they're good at.
You get well-made copper work and a clear, organised process. We're not a factory and we're not a marketplace — we're the person who makes sure your project gets done properly.
The Craftsmen We Work With
We work with workshops in Tumang, Boyolali. Before we send any project to a workshop, we've checked their work in person — quality, consistency, and whether they deliver on time.
We Check the Work
Every piece is checked before it ships — finish, size, and build. We use imported copper and brass with consistent thickness. If something's wrong, we deal with it before it reaches you.
We Manage the Process
One person handles your project from start to finish — the quote, samples, production updates, and delivery. You don't need to chase multiple people.
You Can Visit the Workshop
If you'd like to see the workshop before committing to an order, that's fine. We can arrange a visit to Boyolali. Just let us know in advance.
